Motivated by the living music of DJ Sean Nevils, all Kyle School students and staff walked "Laps for Learning" on May 13, 2011. Goals were set for each student to raise money for each lap, and to walk a determined number of laps per grade level. All funds from this event will be used to purchase educational supplies for the classroom. Pedometers were provided for all students through a Wal-Mart grant. The pedometers will be used after the event for classroom activities. This is the second year for the event, sponsored by the Kyle PTO.
