A barista who can't steam milk? A witch who can't fly? What more could happen? Come join the Fall 2023 La Lu Players as they present Kimberly Barger's comedic delight, Witch's Brew.
With only a few days left before the big annual latté-making competition and the seasonal Frogshire Forest celebration, nothing's going right. Until Hazel, the Teenage Witch, and Kate, the Teenage Barista, join forces to show the world not only what they're capable of but what the power of friendship and family can create.
"Changes in seasons are always great backdrops for theatre," says Matt Benedict, La Lumiere's Theatre Program Director. "Because while our physical environments change, there are constants we can always rely on, like friends and family. And plays like Witch's Brew explore the intersection between these two life-points."
Shows are located in the Fine Arts Building (FAB) on the La Lumiere Campus Saturday, September 30 at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 3 & Wednesday, October 4 at 4:00 p.m., and Thursday, October 5 at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free and shows are open to the public.
