La Porte County Habitat for Humanity Welcomes Five New Board Members

Habitat-for-HumanityFive individuals were elected to the LaPorte County Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors at its March 18 meeting. They are Alicia Ebaugh, Karen Pavy, and Edward Shebel, all of Michigan City; and Daina Krueger and Leslie A. Schroeder of LaPorte. They are set to begin their three-year terms at the April 15 meeting.

“We are very excited to welcome these individuals to our board. The depth and breadth of their experience and knowledge of our communities will be invaluable as we chart our agency’s course for the next several years,” said Dwight Graham, Board President. Rounding out the slate of officers for 2014 are Joy Schmitt, Vice President; Laurie Wink, Secretary, and Jeff Hilb, Treasurer. Current board members continuing their service on Habitat’s board include Anthony Getter, Brian Nelson, and Tim Welty.
