Pete Land will continue to serve as the City of Crown Point’s mayor, according to final numbers from the Lake County Board of Elections.
Kent Jeffirs will continue to serve as the Crown Point City Judge. Incumbent Chad Jeffries, D, will continue to represent District 1, and Incumbents Zack Bryan, D, and Scott Evorik, R, will continue to serve as at-large representatives.
Robert Clemons, R, unseated incumbent Dawn Stokes, D, in a close race to represent District 2, with Clemons winning by 47 votes. Joe Sanders, R, will now represent District 5, beating out Ryan Fleming, D.
Clerk-Treasurer Dave Benson, R; Councilman Andrew Kyres, D; and Councilwoman Laura Sauerman, R, ran uncontested races.
