The Fostering Hope Support Group of Liberty Bible Church will be hosting a prospective resource (foster) parent recruiting event on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 6:00 pm.
Foster care specialist will provide an overview of licensing procedures, policies and training and attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions. The Fostering Hope Support Group began two years ago as a way for members of Liberty Bible Church to support local children in need and the resource parents that care for them.
The support group provides monthly DCS approved training for resource parents in Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties, allowing them to obtain their required credits conveniently. The group meets September through May.
