Lita Ford and Dee Snider to Perform at Four Winds New Buffalo’s Silver Creek Event Center on May 30

The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians’ Four Winds® Casinos are pleased to announce that Lita Ford will perform at Four Winds New Buffalo’s Silver Creek® Event Center on Friday, May 30 at 9 p.m. Eastern.  Dee Snider will also join Lita Ford for a special encore performance!  Ticket prices for the show start at $55, plus applicable fees, and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster beginning on Friday, March 7 at 10 a.m. Eastern.  Hotel rooms are available on the night of the concert and can be purchased with event tickets.

Lita Ford’s career began in 1975 as a founding member and guitarist of the groundbreaking all female group the Runaways.  The group’s hard rock/punk edge spawned hits like “Cherry Bomb” and “Queens of Noise.”  Lita and the Runaways proved their timelessness in 2014 when “Cherry Bomb” was featured in the critically acclaimed Marvel/Disney Studios hit movie “Guardians Of The Galaxy” and was nominated for a Grammy Award.

In 1983 Lita launched her carrier as a solo artist with her début album “Out For Blood,” establishing her as the premier female performer in rock and Heavy Metal.  Lita quickly followed up in 1984 with the release of “Dancin’ on the Edge” which earned her a Grammy nomination in the Best Female Rock Vocal Performance category.  The album produced the world charting single “Fire In My Heart” and the U.S. Billboard top 50 charting hit “Gotta Let Go.”  The song, along with the video being in MTV’s top rotation began to make Ford a household name and face.

While perhaps best known as the lead singer of 80's sensation, Twisted Sister, there is so much more to Dee Snider.  He has starred in several reality TV shows including appearances in three seasons of Celebrity Apprentice; Gone Country with John Rich; MTV’s Rock The Cradle with his son Jesse; Growing Up Twisted, an A&E series featuring the entire Snider family and their Long Island lifestyle; ABC’s Celebrity Wife Swap, and Celebrity Holiday Homes.  He is also a frequent host on MTV Networks and his own long running nationally syndicated radio show House Of Hair is heard on more than 200 stations in North America.  His career as a voiceover artist has resulted in Dee being heard in many radio and TV commercials, documentaries and a year long stint as the voice on MSNBC.

Never setting limits, Dee wrote, produced and starred in Dee Snider’s StrangeLand.  This horror flick has become a horror classic, literally creating the torture film sub-genre.  StrangeLand 2 is currently in development. With the success of StrangeLand, Dee was tapped to host a weekly radio show on all things horror, Fangoria Radio, on the Sirius network.

In 2002, VH1 signed Dee to star as himself in their original movie production of Warning: Parental Advisory. Co-starring Mariel Hemingway, Jason Priestley and Griffin Dunne, Dee re-created his role during the congressional record labeling hearings of the mid 1980's.  Battling the Beltway wives, most notably Tipper Gore, Dee, along with Frank Zappa and John Denver, turned DC politics upside down, carrying the banner of Dee’s Twisted Sister legendary anthem “We're Not Gonna Take It.”
