Most Improved First Grade Students from Myers School

Myers-Improved-1st-GradeHere at Myers School, celebrations are quite common. At a recent school-wide “Family Gathering” convocation the “most improved students “ from each grade level and from the special subjects such as music, art, and p.e. were celebrated.

Pictured in the photo were the first grade students who were cheered. From left to right those students were: Maliyah Alexander, Journey Galarza, Benjamin Lagunas, Hunter Buist, and Gavin Barber.

One child, who fit the criteria, was nominated by each teacher and awarded with a certificate. This special award recognizes children for improvement in such categories as performance, behavior, academics, character, positive attitude, and all-around improvement.

The first grade teachers all believe that improvement in any of these areas is always an important, welcome component in their students!
