Scary and not-so-scary night walks planned.
The Munster Parks and Recreation Department, along with the Munster Boy Scouts and Munster Girl Scouts will be hosting its annual Bieker Woods Night Walks during School Town of Munster Fall Break, Friday, October 25, and Saturday, October 26.
Not-So-Scary Night Walk, October 25
Bieker Woods, located at 1050 Ridge Rd., will be transformed into a not-so-scary, family-friendly, haunted night walk. With decorations, lights, and things that go bump in the night, this haunted walk will tingle your senses! Little ones will love it but children under 8-years-old must be accompanied by an adult. Ticket sales will run from 5:30-8:30 p.m. with tours beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Fright Night, October 26
The following night the scouts will take out all the stops as Bieker Woods is turned into a frightful, oh-so-scary night walk. With special effects, creepy noises and scenes from your nightmares, this spooky walk will have you checking under your bed before you go to sleep! Children under 8-years-old must be accompanied by an adult. Ticket sales will run from 6:00-10:00 p.m. with tours beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Look for parking and entrance signs upon arrival. Concessions will be available both nights. Adult tickets cost $5 each and tickets for children under 12-years-old cost $3 each.
