On Monday, May 16, Myers Elementary Kindergarten students received a visit from Ms. Anderson from the Recycling and Waste Reduction District of Porter County.
The students took part in the "Lovely Ladybugs" program and learned about the life cycle and body parts of a ladybug as well as the dangers of pesticides and safe alternatives. Students were able to examine their own lady bug and release it into nature.
