On Saturday, October 17th, students from Myers were selected by their music teacher, Mrs. Rebecca Duncan to perform at the Southlake Children's Choir festival. Students learned two songs, created a Chinese dragon mask art project, and performed the songs they rehearsed that day on the stage. They also listenEd to performers from China who played interesting instruments and sang songs. The students from Myers that participated were: Arabella Sweeney, Alannah Sweeney, Nolan White, John White, Nichole Buckmaster, Kat Carroll, Daneysi Lopez, and Bryanna St.Myers.
