Myers Second Grade Researches Endangered Animals

The second grade classes at Myers Elementary School have researched endangered animals and written reports. The reports were input into Max Show, which is a child-friendly version of Power Point in the school’s computer lab.  The presentations were made into DVD videos for the parents.  As part of the project, the children created their own shoebox habitats and clay animals. A special thanks goes to our computer coordinator, Mrs. Hallenbeck, for all the technical support.  We also appreciate the assistance from our classroom assistant, Mrs. Stronczek, and all the parent volunteers for their help with the habitats and clay animals.
