NITCO Welcomes Valued Customers to 7th Annual Customer Appreciation Day

Thursday afternoon NITCO hosted its 7th Annual Customer Appreciation Day in Hebron, Indiana. The morning began by setting up tents for each participating vendor, starting up the grill to cook up some delicious BBQ, and filling up the dunk tank for customers to enjoy. Surrounding community members began arriving and the festivities started right on time.

“We are hosting this event to show our past customers, current customers, and future customers that we appreciate them. We would like to see them face to face and treat them to something special because they are incredibly special to us,” stated Toni Smith, Help Desk Assistant at NITCO.

Participants started their block party celebration by walking to each station to get some information and participate in the fun activities that were set up for everyone. Valpo Velvet Ice Cream came out to support the Hebron community by setting up a station full of ice cream for everyone to enjoy.

“It is so important to be here today and support our customers and community because we would most certainly not be here without them. We are real people here and I think that if there is person to person contact, it will put a face to a name and gain some trust,” stated Smith.

People of all ages were participating in the dunk tank contest. Face painting, animal balloons, and even a photo booth added to the block party fun. Guests were given a chance to play a bean-bag toss game to get a chance at entering a raffle contest.

“Fortunately we are able to shut down the block courtsey of the town for this fun day. My favorite part of the day is talking with people because it gives me such a kick,” stated Tom Carroll, Senior Vice President at NITCO. “I love hearing about all of the stories and about how we impact the community.”

NITCO offices and services are in located all over Lake County, Porter County Newton County, and Jasper County. Because NITCO has such a wide spread of services, they are able to influence all of their surrounding communities in positive ways.

“This thing happens on its own because my marketing staff along with the entire NITCO team pulls together to plan this big event. While we are celebrating the community, our NITCO team services are still in operation as a company, stated Carroll.”
