Northwest Health welcomes obstetrics and gynecology nurse practitioner and midwife Rachael Ferrero, DNP, CNM, APRN, to Northwest Medical Group. Ferrero joined the Northwest Medical Group - Women’s Health offices located at 1509 State St., in La Porte, and 3777 N. Frontage Road, in Michigan City.
Ferrero received her doctor of nursing practice and midwifery from the University of Michigan and her bachelor of science in nursing from Wayne State University.
As a certified nurse midwife, Ferrero specializes in the care of women during pregnancy and childbirth. She also offers gynecological care for women of all ages. Her expertise in women’s health includes annual exams, family planning, lactation counseling, and general health care and education.
