I am an "Oprah Show Ultimate Viewer!" I have been an Oprah fan since her first show, when she took over the "A.M. Chicago" show.
I was selected as an "Ultimate Viewer" because of an email I sent to Oprah's website, telling Oprah my top ten reasons why I am an Ultimate Viewer. My friends and family encouraged me in this because they knew how big of a fan I am. About a week and a half later, I received an email and a phone message from a Harpo Staff member saying that my top ten reasons were super funny and asking if I would make a video of my top ten. So I did and ended up getting two tickets to a show during the Farewell Season. September 9th had two seats available, for me and one guest.
The day of the show, my friend Cathy Laughery and I were extremely excited to be part of the audience for the Farewell Season. Little did we know it was the premiere! When Oprah and John Travolta came out on stage, dancing to “Love Train,” the audience went wild! During the show, Oprah offered the entire audience a trip to Australia! 
From the moment we got off the plane at the Sydney, Australia airport, until we boarded 8 days later, the Ultimate Viewers were treated like celebrities! Wherever we went, we were given the “red carpet” treatment. The food that was served was the best they had to offer.
All 302 Ultimate Viewers were split into groups during the trip, with Australian animal names, and sent out to different destination excursions. My travel buddy, Cathy, and I were among the Possum Group, which went to Melbourne. Melbourne is a lovely, quaint city and our trip proved to be very exciting!
Australia is such a beautiful place to visit, with the friendliest people. Australia should be on everyone’s bucket list, it won’t disappoint!
