On April 27th, 2025, Fighting Pretty, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women facing cancer, will host its signature event, Petals of Strength, at the Hard Rock Casino in collaboration with the Women’s Council of Realtors Northwest Indiana. This exciting fundraising event will feature a fashion show celebrating the strength and beauty of women in the fight against cancer. The event is designed to bring together local leaders, businesses, and community members. The funds raised from this event will go to support Fighting Pretty's programs, events and community.
The afternoon fashion show will feature local industry leaders, influencers, and colleagues modeling clothing from local boutiques, while the event will be emceed by the energetic Eddie Volkman, host of “The Eddie & Jobo Morning Show” on Chicago’s B96. The event promises to be a powerful celebration of community, unity, and empowerment as it shines a light on women’s journeys through cancer treatment.

Petals of Strength will also feature a variety of opportunities for local businesses and community members to support the cause, including sponsorships and vendor tables. The funds raised from this event will go to support Fighting Pretty's programs, events and community. In 2025, Fighting Pretty plans to impact over 10,000 women, and every $10 raised allows us to provide encouragement and resources to one woman. Your support will make a lasting impact, helping these women feel strong, beautiful, and fierce during one of the most difficult times of their lives.
