Portage Boys & Girls Club Participates in Kick Butts Day

March 24 is National Kick Butts Day where youth from around the country organize events to fight tobacco use. Members of the Portage Boys & Girls Club small leadership group Torch Club held their annual Kick Butts Day Carnival to teach fellow members about the dangers of tobacco while play fun carnival games and winning prizes.

Portage Boys & Girls Club members also participated in the statewide Indiana Tobacco Prevention and Cessation (ITPC) poster contest. The artwork of Juliet Zuniga was a top three finalist in the state. For her work "Smoking Makes Me Scream" Juliet received postcards of her work and a $100 gift card.
