The Portage Chamber of Commerce and Rittenhouse Village at Portage held their 6th annual car show on August 19 at Rittenhouse. The event was a huge success with 43 cars in attendance. Awards were given to residence choice, people’s choice and Chamber/Rittenhouse choice. Free food was provided to everyone. Sponsors of the event were Portage Chamber of Commerce, Rittenhouse Senior Village at Portage, Indiana Farm Bureau Portage and Moses Caregivers. Entertainment was provided by Diamond Joe Zirconia. Proceeds from the event go the Portage Chamber of Commerce. The Portage Chamber then donated $500 to the Alzheimer's and Dementia Services of NWI, Rittenhouse’s Charity of Choice.
