Central Church of God is collecting school supplies to deliver to a local elementary school.
Supplies being collected include pens, pencils, notebooks, erasers, crayons, glue and tissues and will be delivered to the elementary school on August 12.
The supply drive is being sponsored by the women’s ministry in the church who has been organizing school supply drives for six years. The church has donated school supplies to elementary schools in Portage, South Haven and Lake Station.
Carolyn Martin, the head of the women’s ministry said if there is a great need in the elementary schools, she wants the ministry to be there to supply it.
