English classes have been using iPads often in their lessons. Some of the most successful uses have been ECA practice using Study Island and No Red Ink, and taking quizzes using Socrative. Mrs. Burke recently "airdropped" internet scavenger hunts to her students to practice research skills, MLA citation, and Works Cited pages. Her 10th grade classes are currently using iMovie to create trailers for individual books that they have read independently. They will present these trailers to their class.
