The Pride of Portage Marching band received a gold rating in the ISSMA district competition held September 29th, 2012. This gold rating allows the band to progress to the ISSMA Regional competition, held October 13th, 2012 at Jefferson High School, in West Lafayette, Indiana.
The marching band performs not only at the competitions, but also at every Portage Football home game.
