Aylesworth Elementary
This weekend Mrs. Nadolski and myself, Miss Sheffer, had the pleasure to celebrate the artistic achievements of our Aylesworth students at the Arts-a-Budding Art Show at Valparaiso University’s Temple of the Resurrection. This year marked the 42nd year of the art show which was started in 1975, by Sandy Haspel.
Myers Elementary
Mrs. Evan's 2nd gr. students did book reports on Great White sharks.
Saylor Elementary
Mrs. Rodenbarger's second grade class did 2 Science experiments this week. Students put Skittles in warm water and watched the colors mingle. In addition, they added drops of food coloring to milk and watched the color reactions.
PHS MCJROTC
Portage Marine Corps Junior ROTC is in the midst of a "supply reorganization". It takes a great deal of work on the part of the cadets. However, there is always time for a break and some fun. Pictured is Cadet Sergeant Katie Petro who clearly has had enough of counting the hundreds of pairs of Marine Corps sweatpants and sweatshirts.
