Kyle Elementary
The PTO of Kyle Elementary provided our students and staff with a hot dog lunch in our courtyard to celebrate our reading growth through out the year. Our principal Mr. Sopko, cooked all the hot dogs on his grill.
Myers Elementary
Fifth grade students from Myers Elementary took part in a living history museum which was open to other classes as well as the performers’ families to visit. The museum was the end product of a biographical book report all fifth-grade reading classes had completed which they then followed up by writing and delivering a speech. The students chosen to perform in the museum then developed their costumes to impersonate the subject of their report. Students did a terrific job!
Saylor Elementary
Saylor Student Council participated in the Team Up to Clean Up, at Haven Hollow Park on Saturday. Students volunteered to clean up trash, pull weeds and rake mulch. We are very proud of our volunteers, who worked hard to help clean up their community.
