Prayer for the City-We are pleased to announce our annual "Prayer for the City" time will be on Tuesday September 9th at 7:00 p.m. at First Church of God 2020 Lincolnway in LaPorte. Our focus for this gathering will be to pray for our City with special emphasis on the youth, teachers and administrators as they start a new school year. Mayor Milo will be with us that night, as well as Superintendent Mark Francesconi and Principal Ben Tonagel. In addition many pastors from several congregations will be assisting with the gathering. The time will be about an hour and will include some praise and worship led by First Church of God’s worship leaders and corporate and small group prayer for our city. Please come as we continue to ask God's blessing on our city.
