Premier Vocalists and War Music at the Crown Point Community Library

crown-point-librarySwinging and Singing: The Magic of Music in World War II is a trilogy presented by Dr. John Ban. The second of three presentations: “Premier Vocalists and War Music” will be presented on Thursday, October 9 at 1:00 p.m. at the Crown Point Library.

This program is about World War II and how music helped to win the war for us. It was a period that produced the most prolific supply of songs and melodies in our history. Be ready to slip back to the 20th century, a point in time that most seniors can still remember. So come alive, tap your feet and hum along in this special tribute to a time of both charm and heartbreak. This program is free; registration is not required.
