Public engagement session to present the district will be held September 7th.
The Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority (RDA) will hold a public engagement session at the Gary Public Library, 220 W. 5th Ave., Gary IN 46402, on Thursday, September 7th at 6:00 p.m. to present the Transit Development District for the Gary Metro station area to the public.
A Transit Development District is a half-mile area anchored on a train station which captures incremental growth in income and property tax revenue for use in public investment related to the station area.
