Members of Portage Kiwanis Club invite the community to attend breakfast club meetings to learn about the club and enjoy the guest speakers. “We have a great line up of speakers”, states John Peterson, club member, “we’d like more people to be able to take advantage of the presentations and learn all about what is happening in our city”.
Today’s speaker, Genise Shumaker, Vice President of Friends of the Porter County Library System explained how the foundation supports the system by raising funds to purchase needed electronics, kid’s programming supplies and building maintenance equipment and supplies.

Portage Kiwanis Club meetings are held every Tuesday morning at 7:30a in the café at Porter Hospital in Portage. Guests are welcome.
