QuickBooks Series Spotlights Core Skills on July 25th and August 1st

The Northwest ISBDC is joining Anna Sheets of Accounting Made Simple to offer QuickBooks essentials events.

QuickBooks Basics is from 9 a.m. to noon Fridays July 25 and Aug. 1 at the Purdue University North Central Graduate Building, 600 Vale Park Road, in Room 20.

The two-part workshop for new users will detail core bookkeeping functions including: accounting primer, getting started, navigating QuickBooks, managing lists, working with bank accounts, recording sales, receiving payments, making deposits and entering and paying bills.

Expanded QuickBooks Essentials is from 9 a.m. to noon Fridays Aug. 15 and 22 also at the Purdue University North Central Graduate Building.

The workshop continues outlining the program and is geared toward individuals who want to further enhance their skills. Participants should have a working knowledge of QuickBooks or have taken the first essentials workshop.

Sheets will cover such topics as payroll processing, time tracking, managing sales tax, analyzing data and custom reports, inventory, estimates and progress invoicing, customizing QuickBooks and Microsoft integration tools.

The fee is $100 per each two-part workshop. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required as there is limited seating.
