Rebuilding Together Valparaiso Workday 2013 will be held on April 20. Over 20 projects have been screened and selected for work on this day. Projects will range in work scope from installing a new bathroom to painting, repairing faulty construction, and yard clean up for our local neighbors in need. Hundreds of volunteers including VU students, community business groups, church groups and individuals will gather to donate their time and efforts for this annual event.
Rebuilding Together is the largest nonprofit organization in the United States dedicated to rehabilitating and renovating the houses of low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly, disabled and families with children so they can continue to live in safety, warmth and independence. Rebuilding Together-Valparaiso is one of 250 local affiliates of the national organization.
