While fall weather may have only recently arrived, it is time to start thinking about winter and how to prepare your property for the cold and snow. Northern Indiana’s low temperatures along with lake effect snow and ice take their toll on surrounding properties, so preparation can go a long way. To ensure your property is taken care of, Redwood Landscape is offering Fall Blowout Specials to make winterization a breeze.
“In the winter – especially in this area – we have freezing temperatures, so we make sure that all water now being transported from inside the home to outside the home is considered potable water and that the pressure vacuum breaker is off. Then, we hook up our compressor to that backflow and push air through it to make sure that all lines are free of water so there's no freezing during the winter, which can lead to very pricey expenses,” said Head of the Irrigation Department and Sales Head Michael “Mike” Vukobratovich. “It is a safety precaution and helps ensure that, when the customer starts up their system in spring, all we have to do is plug up the backflow and then do the startup, which is something that a lot of people normally spend upwards of $5,000-$6,000 to do.”
Despite already having affordable services, Redwood Landscape is offering up to 10% off its normal prices through its Fall Blowout Specials so more people can protect themselves against irrigation issues. These irrigation issues can arise during the winter and again in the spring when they start up their irrigation systems, and Redwood Landscape wants to aid as many customers as possible.
“For our winterization specials, customers can get up to 10% off the normal prices. Our normal prices in Porter County are $100 for blowouts and $90 in Lake County. We take 10% off of that,” Vukobratovich said. “Other companies charge upwards of $140. We just want to make sure that the customers are getting what they deserve and what is required so they don't have any issues in the springtime”
Working for an affordable and trustworthy company has been a great source of pride for Vukobratovich since he joined the company about four months ago. He spent nine years working in irrigation before transitioning to Redwood Landscape and is grateful for the warm welcome he received from the family-owned company. It is this level of company care that makes him happy to come to work every day.
This spirit of warmth shines through everything Redwood Landscape does and leaves an impression on its customers, leading to many returning customers who have built personal relationships and trust with the company’s staff.
“Customers want to deal with one person and one company for all their needs. They don’t want to be going to Business A, Business B, and Business C to handle everything. They would rather have someone they can trust,” Vukobratovich said. “We’re about the customers: we want to make sure that they are taken care of. If we don’t have that, what do we have? That relationship is like family. I have 200 clients on my phone who have welcomed me to their homes for holidays and parties.”
