The deadline for registering to participate in the November 2011 General Election is Tuesday, October 11, 2011.
Indiana residents can visit www.indianavoters.com to register to vote or update their voter registration record. Reminder: If you have moved since the last time you voted, be sure to update your information.

Absentee or early voting options
Voters interested in an absentee option can vote by mail, traveling board or early at their clerk's office. All registered voters in Indiana are eligible to vote early (absentee-in-person) at their county election board office beginning October 10, 2011.
Voters requesting to vote absentee-by-mail must meet certain criteria, including an individual with a disability, an individual over 65 years of age, or a member of the military. The deadline to submit an application to vote by mail is midnight, October 31. Applications must be received by the deadline, so those that are postmarked before the deadline but received after will not be processed.
Vote-by-mail ballots are due on or before Election Day and must be received by Election Day, regardless of when they are postmarked.
