Northwest Indiana Community Action Corporation is offering a ServSafe® Food Safety Course at its Crown Point, Indiana location. The course promises to combine critical information, exclusive tools, and real world resources to transform knowledge into action.
ServSafe® Training will help students understand the dangers of cross-contamination, food borne pathogens, food selection, storage, handling, safety and preparation. This course is invaluable to those serving or preparing food for individuals with impaired immune systems, as well as helpful to caterers, restaurant owners, or institutional kitchen staff in need of food handling certification.
ServSafe® training and certification is recognized by more federal, state and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification. NWICA is presenting the three-day course and exam leading to certification on December 5th, 6th, and 7th from 9am to 4:00pm. Class is filling up fast, be sure to register soon (cost $130.00 per student).
To reserve your seat, contact Kellie Jabaay at NWICA 219-794-1029 ext. 2210 by November 15, 2011.
