On Wednesday, Jan. 14th Mrs. Michalski’s first grade class visited Town & Country Supermarket in Portage. The students were visiting the store to discuss the food groups and kick-off their nutrition unit. Every child sampled items from the food groups as they traveled around the building. Their study of the food groups will continue in the classroom with visits from Professor Popcorn and other projects healthy eating.
