Each year during the month of February, students at South Haven Elementary write “Kindness Letters” to fellow students, teachers, and staff members.
This year, not only did the students continue this tradition but they sent “Kindness Letters” to a former student who is serving in the Army. The students wrote letter to him and his fellow team members who are stationed in South Korea.
Students were given time to write in class but many spent recess time writing to our service men and women thanking them for all that they do for our country.
