Residents got a taste of Ireland in their first-ever pub crawl.
StoryPoint Chesterton residents got to enjoy three different ‘pub’ stops in the community with food, drinks, and entertainment. The first stop had Guinness beer and green beer with pretzel bites and beer cheese. The next stop had Lucky Irishmen drinks, which include whiskey and Bailey’s, and a charcuterie board. Green River floats and shortbread cookies were at the final stop. A lot of residents had never heard of or participated in a pub crawl before, and they enjoyed laughing and having fun. Life enrichment director, Shelly McCarthy, said, “Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day and like the doctor says, laughter is the best medicine!”
