On Wednesday, Cecilia Post from Lake Station hosted a lemonade stand benefiting her kindergarten teachers mission to bring math learning tools to her classroom.
CeCe's lemonade stand was able to raise $244.93 toward the project and is still expecting some more donations through the mail.
Life team member Deanna Grimes even stopped by to show her support. "I'm really proud that at such a young age Cece is giving back her own community," said Grimes.
Even Porter County Parks and Recreation joined in on Cece's mission by having lemonade at their afternoon meeting.
