The South Haven Volunteer Fire Department is hosting ‘Suds for a Cause’, a fundraising initiative to raise money in support of the department’s mission.
Fire department volunteers are sell laundry detergent and softener in 5 gallon containers. Various Tide, Gain, and Downy products are being sold as well as Dawn dish soap and pumps for your 5 gallon detergent containers. Cost is $35 per container and $3.00 for the pumps. “The savings are huge”, states Eric Wood, firefighter/EMT and organization Vice President, “ it comes out to $3.50 per 40 loads of laundry verses $10 when you buy your products from a retail store.”
Order forms are available by calling 219-759-3919 or can be downloaded at www.southhavenfire.com. The completed order form and payment can be dropped off or mailed to the South Haven Fire Department at 398 W. 700 N., Valparaiso IN 46385. Deadline is June 17th, 2016. All orders will be available for pick at the fire station on Friday, July 8th from 8a-8p.
