Tangerine is Looking for a Home

Tangerine-ICSWhen four year old Tangerine was first brought to the Independent Cat Society she had been abused by small children and terrorized by dogs and was a scared little girl. She was quite traumatized but has since learned to trust people but sadly it hasn't helped her in her search for a forever home. She was adopted last year by a wonderful family but had to be returned about a month later due to severe allergies of a family member. Everyone was devastated, including Tangerine. She was adopted again a few months later only to be returned the next day through no fault of hers.

So Tangerine is once again looking for a home to call her very own. She watches as people come to the Shelter and say how pretty she is but then walk away. She is wondering if it will ever be her turn to be the 'chosen' one. Won't you come out to the Independent Cat Society and meet this beautiful little girl and show her there is a home and family for her and one that 'hopefully' won't have to ever bring her back. Our adoption hours are Saturdays 10am - 4pm and Sundays 1pm - 4pm. We are located at Rte 6 and County Line Road in Westville. Tangerine is hoping to see you soon!
