Taste of Valparaiso Raising Funds for our Community One Bite at a Time

Taste-of-Valpo-group-2014Tri Kappa is hosting its annual Taste of Valparaiso on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Porter County Expo Center. The event is from 5:30-8:30 pm and will feature signature dishes from about 40 local restaurants. Almost 1,000 attendees are expected and they can sample the local fare while listening to music by the VHS orchestra. There will also be a fantastic raffle and silent auction.

Tickets for open seating are $30 in advance and can be purchased with cash or check from any Tri Kappa member or purchased at Seasons on the Square (downtown), at Tudor Floors Carpet One (on Silhavy), or Town & Country Supermarket (on Calumet) in Valparaiso. Tickets will be $40 at the door. Due to space limitations and large crowds, strollers are not allowed in the Taste. Children old enough to walk need a full price ticket.

Tri Kappa is dedicated to the advancement of charity, culture, and education in our community. 100% of profits from the Taste of Valparaiso are donated back to the community in the form of scholarships for higher education, funds for needy families and grants for numerous non-profits.
