There will be a very important property tax meeting for Porter County residents on April 9. This meeting was requested by Commissioner Tim Rushenberg, who is in charge of the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF). He will be speaking at the VU Union in the Alan Harre Ballroom. The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m.
Attendance is very important to keep momentum going, and help Mr. Rushenberg understand how many people have been affected by the increased property taxes. INPART wants Mr. Rushenberg to know that there are Indiana People Advocating Reasonable Taxation. Attendance to this meeting is free and open to the public. All are encouraged to invite other property tax payers to join you.
