Lakeshore Public Radio Program, The Lakeshore, 89.1 FM signed a three-year extension with Learfield Communications, Inc. to broadcast Indiana University Football and Men’s Basketball games, Program Director Len Clark announced today.
Coverage will include all home and away regular and post-season play. The Hoosiers open the 2009 regular football season Thursday, September 3 at home against Eastern Kentucky.
Additionally, 89.1 FM will offer the “IU Daily Show,” hosted by Don Fisher, the voice of Indiana athletics.
A subsidiary of Northwest Indiana Public Broadcasting, Inc., Lakeshore Public Radio, The Lakeshore, 89.1 FM serves more than 500,000 listeners in the lakeshore region with extensive local coverage. The Lakeshore broadcasts from Lowell, Indiana with offices in Merrillville, Indiana.
