The Valparaiso Police Department is accepting applications for Police Officer. Applicants are encouraged to complete the application via PoliceApp.com; however, applications are also available at the Valparaiso Police Department and at www.valparaisopolice.org. The applications may be submitted electronically or in person. The minimum requirements to be considered for this opportunity are, applicant:: must be 21—40 years of age, hold a high school diploma or GED, be a United States Citizen, possess a valid driver’s license and have no prior felony convictions.

All applications must be returned no later than 11:59 p.m. on September 30, 2021 to be considered for the scheduled agility/written tests. The current testing options are October 11th and 13th at 5:00 p.m., as well as October 16, at 8:00 a.m. All testing will be conducted at the Valparaiso Police Department.
