Join Tri Kappa for their 25th Annual Taste of Valparaiso on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the Porter County Expo Center. The event runs from 5:30-8:30 pm and will feature signature dishes from dozens of local restaurants with entertainment provided by the VHS orchestra. Ticket holders can try their luck with a raffle and silent auction featuring services and goods from local businesses and some of Tri Kappa’s talented members.
Tickets for open seating are available from any Tri Kappa member or may be purchased at the following Valparaiso businesses: Seasons on the Square, Tudor Floors Carpet One, or Valparaiso Town & Country Market. Ticket price is $30 in advance or $40 at the door. A full price ticket is required for children old enough to walk. Due to space limitations, strollers are not permitted at the event.
Tri Kappa is dedicated to the advancement of charity, culture, and education in our community. 100% of profits from the Taste of Valparaiso are donated back to the community in the form of scholarships for higher education, funds for needy families and donations for numerous non-profits and community projects. The first Taste of Valparaiso was held at the Fairgrounds Park Pavilion and featured 20 restaurants. The Taste of Valparaiso has since grown to feature over 35 area restaurants.
