Two VHS bands will be performing a series of Veterans' Day Concerts in November!
The 1st concert features the VHS "A" Band under the direction Daniel R. Pritchett at the VHS Auditorium on Sunday, November 8, 2009 (new date) at 2:30 p.m. Admission is free. The music program includes selections from American composers, marches, and traditional patriotic selections.
The 2nd concert features the VHS "B" Band and it will be held at Strongbow's Restaurant on Monday, November 9, 2009 under the direction of Miguel E. Rosario-Vega. This performance is for the Valparaiso Rotary Club members in celebration of their Veterans' Day activities. These performances by the "B" Band started on November of 2001. The music program includes patriotic and traditional works of music to celebrate and honor the veterans of our community for their service to our country.
