The Valparaiso American’s Minor Division Valparaiso Rattlers went 6-0 in the District 1 Taber Tournament, placing first out of 54 teams in the district.
The Rattlers beat the Valparaiso Bulls in the Championship game 11 – 0 in four innings. Grant Comstock pitched a no hitter as well for the Rattlers. Ty Gill recorded 2 hits, Richard Calloway recorded 2 hits and 1 RBI, Colin Majda logged a double and 3 RBI, to go along with Comstock’s 2 hits and 2 RBI. Logan Daily and Ben Gebhardt each recorded 1 hit and 1 RBI.
The win put the Rattlers up to 15-1 on the season.
