Valpo Parks will be offering a fun in-person coding program this year!
For Valpo parents: Your son or daughter will have a blast creating ideas for games, characters, or animations. You don’t even have to mention all the cool skills he or she is learning along the way: basic coding and programming, problem solving, logic, physics and more.
Athena's curriculum is designed to allow young students (K-3) to develop their creative storytelling abilities and give the opportunity to bring stories to life through game design using Scratch and Python. At the beginning of each session, students brainstorm with creative ideas for games, characters, or animations. Through this, children are introduced to programming in a creative, fun, collaborative, and innovative way!
