ValpoLife.com Announces Expansion into Downtown Valparaiso

ValpoLife.com has announced an expansion project with the company moving to a newly renovated office building at

5 Napoleon in downtown Valparaiso, right off of Lincolnway. The web-based company, which has seen incredible growth, will begin operations from the new location on Napoleon Street before the end of 2009.

“It’s been an exciting run for us since we began, and the momentum just keeps growing,” said Site Publisher Chris Mahlmann. “We’ve been bursting at the seams in our tight quarters, and it will be great for us to be moving downtown to a much bigger space, with room for our video studio and editorial group right in the heart of Valparaiso.”

ValpoLife.com is an exclusively positive, community-based website focusing on all of the good stories about Valparaiso’s businesses, organizations, and people. The website, launched in late March 2009, has earned a fast growing readership with 77,000 visits and 250,000 page views for the site. The site connects with the community through 3,700 Best of Valpo newsletter recipients each week, as well as the network of 1,800+ VL Facebook fans, and 800+ Twitter followers.

“I just want to thank everyone who has supported us from when we first started this crazy notion, whether they were contributing their positive stories, introducing us to so many great people and groups in town, to everyone who has helped spread the word to friends and family,” noted Mahlmann. “Many people, businesses and organizations told us they believed in the concept of ‘ValpoLife’ from the beginning, and they’ve all been fantastic to work with.”
