We at the Portage Township YMCA would like to invite you and your business to be a part of our 5th annual Trick-or-Treat Trail Walk! What is the Trick-or-Treat Trail Walk you ask? It’s an event where local businesses come together in a fun family-friendly environment to bring smiles and joy to the children of Portage by handing out candy. This year’s Trail Walk will be held at the Portage Y from 5:30-8pm on Friday October 13th.
So why should you participate? Besides showing support for the families of your community, the Portage Y allows all participating vendors to distribute information about their products and services to all of the families that walk through the Trail. This is a great way to directly inform the families of Portage what your business does and what it’s all about. Plus, you get to smile and laugh with the kids as they walk through the trail in costume, and who doesn’t enjoy that?!
What’s the catch? There is none! The only cost to you as a vendor is the candy that you bring for the kids. All we ask is that you bring enough for everyone!
If you would like to be a part of our Trick-or-Treat Trail Walk, would like more information about the event, or if you do not wish to participate but would like to make a donation to our Annual Support Campaign to help us in our continued mission to serve families in need please feel free to contact CC, the Youth and Family Director, at Ms.CC@YMCAofPortage.org or Amber Bardsley, the School Age Child Care Coordinator at schoolage@YMCAofPortage.org. You may also reach us at 219-762-9622.
Thank you for supporting your community, we hope to see you on Friday October 13th!
