The Valparaiso High School varsity volleyball team experienced their first loss of the season as the Vikings placed third in a tournament held over the weekend at Plymouth High School.
The Vikings won their first game against New Prairie 25-11, 25-14, but fell in their second game to Penn 17-25, 17-25. In their third game, they were able to recover and take down Lake Central 23-25, 25-17, and 15-9. Valpo was also able to take down host Plymouth in their final match 25-20, 25-18.
