Vikings’ Boys Varsity, JV Teams Silence the Bulldogs

The Valparaiso High School boys basketball team traveled out to Crown Point on Tuesday and both the varsity and junior varsity teams came away with solid victories over their Duneland Athletic Conference opponents.

The varsity squad won their third game in five days, taking home a 60-49 victory. Valpo was led by John Mosser’s 19 points and Zach Meyer’s 12 points on 4-for-4 shooting. Brian Boetel also added six points and six rebounds for the Vikings.

The junior varsity team overcame a rough shooting night (34%) to win a 34-21 game against the Bulldogs. Miler scored 10, while Osborn contributed six points, five rounds, and three assists to fill out the stat sheet for the Vikings.

The Vikings’ next game will come on the road as the boys team travels out to LaPorte on Friday, December 16th before they have an 11 day break ahead of Virgil Sweet Night at the Viking Gym n December 27th.
