On Saturday, September 8, 2012, the Willowcreek Middle School cross country team competed in the 38th Annual Rensselaer Invitational against some of the top teams in Indiana. All of the runners participating for Willowcreek in the 3000m races ran well. The 6th and 7th grade boys team was outstanding with 4 runners receiving medals and many others receiving ribbons.
Because of the great performance, the Willowcreek runners were awarded with the 1st place trophy. Coach Pagan was awarded with a “best coach” plaque for how well the middle school boys raced.
